Cover thumbnail for Joseph Delaney Gift Joseph Delaney Gift

Recently, DOMA received an extraordinary gift of a large portion of the estate of Joseph Delaney (1904-1991), an African-American artist and Knoxville, Tennessee, native who spent much of his artistic career in New York. Through the generosity of Charles and Kathleen Harper, over 100 drawings are now part of the permanent collection, joining three paintings by the artist given earlier by the same donors. Please enjoy a selection of items online as we make plans to install a group of these gifts in the galleries in the near future.
